The reasons for hyperhidrosis are not completely understood. It is served most often, that these disturbances result from the incorrect stimulation of autonomous nerves by miscellaneous factors, both environmental and internal. Not much is known about the regulation of these sympathetic nerve responses that cause hyperhidrosis. Research is ongoing in this field. We at the clinic are also participating in ongoing research to further the treatment of hyperhidrosis.
